Collaborating to prevent all preventable suicides.

Across the UK, thousands of people are working every day to prevent suicide.
They are supporting individuals and families, leading charities and community groups, carrying out research, improving workplaces, educating young people and campaigning for change. Each brings knowledge, experience and a determination to save lives.
But too often, people are working in isolation. Valuable knowledge remains difficult to find. Good practice is not always shared. Organisations compete for limited resources, and those doing some of the most emotionally demanding work can feel unsupported themselves.
One Voice, One Hope exists because we believe there is a better way.
We are a growing collaborative network of people and organisations united by one shared ambition: to prevent all preventable suicides across the four nations of the UK.
We bring together people with lived and learned experience, charities,
researchers, health professionals, public services, educators, employers, community leaders and others who believe that meaningful and lasting change is only possible when we work together.
Through One Voice, One Hope, we are creating opportunities to connect, exchange knowledge and turn shared ideas into collaborative action.
This includes helping people discover existing resources and effective approaches, identifying gaps, challenging practices that need to change and developing new solutions together.
Welcome to One Voice, One Hope. There is no formal membership. All we ask is that you would want to share your knowledge, experience and resources in a true spirit of collaboration. We aim to offer you the same in return.

Sharing knowledge, learning and practice in suicide prevention
At One Voice, One Hope, we understand that actions speak louder than words. We also know that some of the most effective solutions to reducing deaths by suicide already exist - we just need to make these more accessible to more people and organisations across the UK. Why reinvent the wheel?
At the heart of this network are themed Collaborative Action Groups, places where emerging and existing practical solutions to preventing suicide are discussed and project groups formed to deliver these solutions on the ground as soon as possible. Collaborative Action Groups feed the One Voice, One Hope Knowledge Exchange. The Exchange will also inform the Groups’ activities.
